The State of California buys more than $8.9 billion annually in goods and services. Its policy is to include small business and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) in its purchasing by requiring State agencies to set aside 25% for small business and 3% for DVBE contracts. You will learn how to become certified as a small business or DVBE, use the State Contracts Register, become a CMAS contractor, and market your business to State agencies.
