The primary goal of CEPCO Job Creation Committee is to create new jobs and new wealth for the Chico community by aiding in the retention and expansion of existing businesses, providing local residents employment, and attracting new businesses to the area.
Come Home to Chico Campaign
Come Home to Chico Campaign is a combined effort with CEPCO CSU, Chico, and the City of Chico to renew ties with CSU Chico Alumni. With the intent to rekindle their affinity with Chico, it is the desire to recruit alumni back to the area as employees with experience in a variety of fields, as possible business leaders, as business owners, relocating a business here or a start-up operation and in other areas of job creation and development beneficial to the economy and future of Chico.
Chico Innovation Council
Chico Innovation Council is the North Valley’s only business-technology education and networking organization serving a network of technology executives, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and related businesses from the region.
Chico Innovation Council – Venture Island
The Venture Island program’s mission is to assist innovators, executives and technology entrepreneurs within the region to build successful businesses by empowering them with the knowledge, capital (money) and the connections that are critical to their development, success and growth. Allowing for a network of established business individuals to “mentor” the new innovator-entrepreneur through the process of a business development plan.
