Tri-County Economic Development Corporation
The Tri-County Economic Development Corporation is a tax-exempt nonprofit corporation providing capital to growing, healthy businesses and nonprofit organizations, as well as syndicating and managing available public/private investments for identified community needs in Butte, Glenn, and Tehama counties.
Loan Program
The Loan Program provides funds to small business owners in Butte, Glenn, and Tehama counties. The business loans may be used for the following:
- Working capital
- Purchasing furniture, fixtures, machinery and equipment
- Business expansions or start-ups
- Leasehold improvements
- Lines of credit
Typical loan sizes range from $25,000 - $100,000 and loan terms are generally between three and seven years. Loan terms for purchasing land, buildings or businesses can be up to 15 years.
Butte County Business Incubator Program
This program provides entrepreneurs with the professional assistance they need to grow their business and create jobs. Consultants provide free mentoring services in the following areas:
- Strategic planning
- Marketing
- Graphic design
- Web development
- Sales
- Finance and accounting
